The World Pickleball League (WPBL) today announced a partnership with leading global media company Warner Bros. Discovery-owned Eurosport India to broadcast Season 2 to over 70 million homes across India.

After a stellar inaugural season in 2025 that introduced pickleball to Indian prime-time audiences, World Pickleball League is set to return on a larger canvas with Season 2, with the league now expanded to seven teams following the inclusion of the Jaipur franchise. Fans will be able to catch all 120 matches of Season 2, up from 90 last season, live on the Eurosport channel.

The upcoming season will feature 13 days of high-octane sportainment, blending elite pickleball action with live entertainment, beginning January 27, 2026. Eurosport, the flagship multi-sport brand in India and Europe for Warner Bros. Discovery, reaches 246 million subscribers across 75 countries in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Gaurav Natekar, Founder and CEO, World Pickleball League, said, “The broadcast partnership with Eurosport India is a natural progression in World Pickleball League’s growth journey. It enables us to reach millions of new viewers internationally as the league continues to expand. Season 2 reflects how quickly World Pickleball League has scaled into a truly global spectacle, with players from over 25 countries registering for the draft and representation from 18 different nations to feature this season. With more live matches and a significantly enhanced sportainment experience, World Pickleball League is focused on delivering long-term value for fans, players, broadcasters, partners and franchises alike.”

World Pickleball League combines competitive gameplay with celebrity franchise ownership and immersive fan engagement. The expanded format and increased match count underline WPBL’s ambition to deepen audience connection while scaling its footprint.

As pickleball’s popularity continues to grow rapidly across India, World Pickleball League’s partnership with Eurosport India marks an important step in taking the sport deeper into Indian households. Together, the collaboration aims to build a league that audiences can connect with on and off the court, blending competitive action, entertainment, and community to make pickleball a part of India’s evolving sports ecosystem.
