On EBFC’s preparations for the Jamshedpur game
I have full faith in our players and their quality. They have been working very hard. Yes, the last three matches didn’t go our way and we made some mistakes. That said, I know the boys can come back stronger. That’s what East Bengal is all about. They know their responsibilities well.
On motivating the squad
I respect Coach Carles for laying the foundation and his contribution over the past one-and-a-half seasons. One win in the ISL will help us get back the rhythm. My job is to motivate the boys and bring the best out of them.
Thanking the fans for their support
The ISL is a long league and we still have 21 matches left. The players are bonding well. We have built a strong team this season. We have been working very hard for a win. I hope we can play well and win against Jamshedpur FC on Saturday. I would like to thank the fans for their unwavering support. I would request our fans to come and support us in Jamshedpur.
