Indian racquet sports coach Nazneen Rahman, from Guwahati, Assam, has been selected as one of only 20 women coaches from around the world to participate in the inaugural Women Who Rally Leadership Program, a prestigious global initiative launched by the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) and the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR).

As part of the 10-month leadership development program, Nazneen Rahman will attend the official Women Who Rally Leadership Summit at Saddlebrook Resort, Tampa, Florida, US, on July 25-26, 2026. The event will bring together the inaugural global cohort for an immersive leadership experience featuring mentorship, networking, professional development, and collaborative learning.

Created by PTR and PPR, Women Who Rally is designed to empower, connect, and elevate women coaches across racquet sports by providing opportunities for leadership growth, education, collaboration, and mentorship. Participants were selected through a highly competitive international application process based on their leadership potential, commitment to developing others, and vision for advancing the coaching profession.

Rahman’s selection is a significant milestone for Indian racquet sports and reflects the increasing global recognition of Indian coaches. As the country’s representative in the inaugural cohort, she will collaborate with fellow coaches from across the world to help shape the future of tennis, pickleball, and racquet sports through innovation, education, and inclusive leadership.

Commenting on the launch of the program, Milena Vidos, Vice President of PTR, said the inaugural cohort represents the passion, leadership, and commitment needed to shape the future of racquet sports, adding that PTR is proud to support these outstanding women throughout their leadership journey.

Rahman’s participation is expected to strengthen international coaching connections while bringing valuable leadership insights and global best practices back to India’s growing racquet sports community.

She is a sports leader, athlete, coach and entrepreneur from Guwahati and the founder of Kaziranga Pro Sports Network. She began pursuing sport seriously in 2011 and went on to represent India in international tennis, achieving a career-high ITF World No. 8 ranking in Mixed Doubles in the 45+ category. She captained the Indian Women’s Seniors Team at the ITF Seniors World Team Championships in Portugal and represented the country at the 2023 ITF Seniors World Championships in Türkiye. A PPR Certified Professional and Clinician, Rahman also serves as secretary of the Assam Pickleball Association and leads pickleball development initiatives across Northeast India. Through coaching, grassroots development and sports leadership, she has played an important role in expanding racquet sports participation in the region, particularly among women and aspiring athletes.
