The match, which resumed today at Naihati Stadium after being halted yesterday due to adverse weather conditions and a waterlogged pitch, witnessed an impressive performance from Mohammedan Sporting Club.
The game was initially interrupted at halftime due to rain and challenging ground conditions. Upon resumption, Mohammedan Sporting Club showcased their cohesive game play.
Both goals were awarded from the penalty spot, reflecting the clinical execution in crucial moments.
Lalnghaihsaka opened the scoring for Mohammedan Sporting Club with a well-taken penalty in the 73rd minute. Israfil sealed the victory by converting another penalty in the added minutes of the second half, ensuring a solid start to the Super Six round for the team.
