East Bengal continued their perfect start to the ISL 2025–26 campaign with a commanding 4–1 victory over SC Delhi at the iconic Salt Lake Stadium on Saturday. The Red and Gold Brigade showed tremendous character to come from behind and secure their second consecutive win, taking them to the top of the league table with six points from two matches.

The visitors stunned the home crowd early when Lalrochana Augustine capitalised on a defensive lapse from Jay Gupta to score from a quick counterattack in just the fourth minute, giving SC Delhi a surprise 1–0 lead.
